How often will you email me? +
Only when there is news worth telling you, such as a confirmed pay award, a retention-payment window opening, a pension rule change or an approaching resignation deadline. There is no fixed schedule, and some months there may be nothing.
Is it free? +
Yes. The updates are free. Some emails mention our calculators and Pro tools where they are relevant, but you never have to buy anything to stay on the list.
Where do the facts come from? +
From official sources: the DfE and the STRB, the STPCD and the Burgundy Book, SNCT, the Welsh Government and the Department of Education NI for pay; GOV.UK and HMRC for tax; and Teachers' Pensions and the scheme rules for pensions. We say where each figure comes from, and what we could not verify.
Are you part of a union or the DfE? +
No. TeacherPay is independent. We are not affiliated with the DfE, Teachers' Pensions or any teaching union. If you need advice on your own case, speak to your union representative or HR.
Can I change my topics or unsubscribe? +
